I’m fine with it being left largely to me. Though it is a skill I always encourage in others. My hands are fine, I promise. It was a one-off situation shared just to make the point that nothing and nobody is infallible, it can just look that way if the right precautions are put in place.

I can do my best with it, though it's not my strongest skill outside of very specific circumstances. You do make a good teacher for it.

It goes both ways. Music doesn’t feel natural to me, but I enjoy our guitar lessons. I figure if it's not easy, then it's worth practicing.

I do know you, and that. I don’t think I will ever know music as you know it, or Wylan does, or any who are moved to make it as a form of creation. But that’s okay. I enjoy how you all enjoy it. And how you use it.

I'm glad you like it. I've been told it helps your brain with math, too, if you needed another tick in the pros column for all the time spent.

I can see the correlation between music and math. And you certainly know well by now that productivity is music to my ears.

That might mean you’re better with numbers yourself, more than you think. They might not just have been presented to you in the most accessible way yet.

Depends on the kinds of maths, I think. I'm great with distance and timing and basic sums, things like that, but I remember trying to balance equations once. And fractions? Terrible!

There are a lot of different types, it’s true. Even I found some easier to learn than others. I found visuals helps a lot with fractions, but even then, it’s not everyone’s thing. Which is fine, because if it was, I’d be rather useless.

The gloves and jerky are appreciated. Caveat that you don't have to get me anything, but appreciated. I have a piece or two most nights. Of the jerky. Not yet so hungry I've tried to eat leather.

I was thinking more like a cupcake with sprinkles, but I can go with whatever the demon's preference is. And if you're going to be like that, go ahead and put February 9th in your own calendar, too. So you can remind me as I get on in years.

All of which get real weird if you sweat. Don't know that you'd want to wear the gloves and just eat them off your hands, or just nibble them separately.

I don’t know about vampires, but I sweat. Thankfully less so now that the weather’s not quite as sweltering. I think I’d still rather wear and eat things separately.

We don't typically. I'm sure there's some Kindred out there that does as the exception to prove the rule, but I know I haven't, or at least not enough to notice.

Honestly you kinda are. You sweat and need jerky and all sorts of things. Kindred just need a dark spot in the daytime, blood, and ever-present paranoia about esoteric political intrigues.

Fair point. I'm trying to play at least twice a week, schedule permitting. Between that and language lessons I'm coming dangerously close to well rounded days.

One would think with all human needs to be met they would be less preoccupied with festering a sense of superiority. Though ego stroking isn't just limited to humanity.

I'm very impressed! Get in actually sleeping in a bed and you might seem to the uninformed observer to be a fully average person. Great for lulling them into a false sense of security.

Tell that to hunters. Or, don't, they'd probably put you on a list.

Does sound like the faces they'd make would be very entertaining. They really don't know how to cope when we're not fitting their narrative and have human friends.

I imagine. Not that I know many vampire hunters, but there are the Drüskelle who hunt Grisha and I know firsthand the indoctrination runs deep. Not easy to break their paradigms.
