Your schemes are brilliant, and you're putting some profit into charity. Maybe I love your black hole then.

[She slips on her coat]

I am so tempted to suggest we share the shower. I always am tempted.

The charity is to help my friends and to spite those who benefit from keeping the oppressed without power.

[Or at least that's the story Kaz sticks with and has for some years now, that all his good deeds are out of spite and not because he sees himself in those who are being taken advantage of that don't deserve it.]

I'm not against you watching, if you really wanted.

[Given sharing would likely mean body parts inevitably touching from the limited space. Which sounds lovely, but not something he can necessarily handle yet.]

Whatever you say.

[She sees how he strives to help kids that could fall through the cracks, and it's not just to make future Dregs members.]

Really? Would you want to watch me? We can have a peep show.

I'm open to it, if you would like to try it.

[The heat in her eyes when she looks at him, and bites her lip. Yeah, she seems pretty into the idea.]

The thought of seeing you naked and wet should probably not be so instantly arousing.

[Seeing that look on her face draws him up short, his own eyes darkening with desire. He stares at her lips longer than he should when leaving a place he's just broken into.]

I hope I don't disappoint. Though I'm more excited for my own show of seeing you. Won't even mind if you use up all the hot water, take as long as you like being naked in front of me.

[He grins at that as they hustle out into the cold and towards her place.]

[They do seem to be walking a little more briskly than usual. They're practically giddy teens who've figured out a way to fool around.]

I don't think you could possibly be disappointing.

I'll do my best not to be.

[He's never shared a shower before, or taken one in front of another when it was meant to be romantic rather than cramped jail times. Still, it's Stella. He knows she loves him. That she wants him. This is meant to be fun and pleasurable, and he's doing his best to do what he does best - overthink things.]

Do you need my jacket? It's cold out.

[He doesn't need to worry, Stella is so completely enamored with him that she is going to be absolutely taken with him.]

I'm alright. This coat is pretty warm.

[The feeling is mutual.]

Just making certain. I'll eat popsicles but I don't want you turning into one.

[It's a short trip, or they make it one, back to her place.]

You don't want to eat me?

[She's awful and she knows it.]

Why do so many of our conversations go back to either oral sex or cannibalism depending on your view?

I can only assume you have a very interesting influence on the humans around you. Perhaps this is the sort of thinking you inspire in me, Stella.

I inspire cannibalism? That's dark.

[She laughs as they make it to her apartment building.]

I mean, we said talking about cannibalism and oral sex, not actually doing it? So probably not actually eating people.

I thought we only used the door in cases of emergency?

Probably. You've not ruled it out entirely then?

[She nods and heads to the fire escape.]

I certainly have no desire to eat humans, I find them distasteful enough as it is outside my belly.

Life is shit though, and if I ended up stranded somewhere where the only option to survive was to eat somebody? Depending on the person and circumstance, can't say what I'd do then.

Sure. There is always the potential situation that could require drastic measures.

[Though she looks over her shoulder with a little laugh.]

Good thing I'm not a human.

A very good thing, humans are the worst, but I wouldn't go all cannibal on you, anyway.

[He follows her up the fire escape, letting her enter the warmth of her apartment first.]

That's not what I meant.

[She winks. And then proceeds to giggle like a schoolchild about her dirty joke. Lot's of maturity coming from the ancient diety.]

[Catching onto what she means, he gives her a dry look but there's a hint of amusement in his eyes that belies it.]

You've been hanging around Jesper and Nina too much, you know.

What makes you think I'm not teaching them new dirty jokes and euphemisms?

[She climbs in through the window and waits for him to join her.]

Is that what you inspire? I knew it wasn't really hymnals.

[He follows in after her, shaking off the cold with a little roll of his shoulders and setting the items they brought back aside. He gently reaches over then with his gloved hands covering her arms, still in her jacket, and rubs them to warm her up, too. As he does so he gives her a little smile.]

I've had to change and grow. No one is writing hymns anymore.

[Every single time he surprises her with a casual little touch she looks at him with pure love and admiration. It is so obvious on her face when she smiles at him]

Well, hello there.

[Every time she affirms his touch through her smiles and warmth, it helps ease something inside of him. It helps propel him to want to continue, and helps make these touches something he's starting to enjoy.]

Fancy meeting you here.

[A silly line that fits the mood. He lets his hands linger on her, feeling her slowly start to warm up from the friction his hand movements are providing.]

Did you need to freshen up first, or should we get right to the showering?

[As usual he's trying to plan out the night as best he can, to know what to expect, but leaving it up to her in what order they do things. If she wants to freshen up first, or enjoy hot toddies by the fire, he's fine with it.]

What's a handsome man like you doing in a place like this?

[She holds her hands just above his biceps, silently asking permission to touch him in return. They have the safety of layers of clothing, but she never touches him without checking in first.]

Should we get right to business? It would be a very good way to get warm.
