I once stuck my hand into a blender when it was on. I was fine, but the point is that we all have bad ideas. Just as long as the good ones outbalance them it’s fine, or at least having contingencies in case plans go south fast.

You are very good at contingencies, from what I've seen. For now, and while I'm smoking, I'll leave that to you and keep to more supplemental support. Just in case. Little worried about your hands now, though.

I’m fine with it being left largely to me. Though it is a skill I always encourage in others. My hands are fine, I promise. It was a one-off situation shared just to make the point that nothing and nobody is infallible, it can just look that way if the right precautions are put in place.

I can do my best with it, though it's not my strongest skill outside of very specific circumstances. You do make a good teacher for it.

It goes both ways. Music doesn’t feel natural to me, but I enjoy our guitar lessons. I figure if it's not easy, then it's worth practicing.

That's a very good way of looking at it. And you know me. I always vote that music is worth the effort in particular.

I can see the correlation between music and math. And you certainly know well by now that productivity is music to my ears.

Depends on the kinds of maths, I think. I'm great with distance and timing and basic sums, things like that, but I remember trying to balance equations once. And fractions? Terrible!

There are a lot of different types, it’s true. Even I found some easier to learn than others. I found visuals helps a lot with fractions, but even then, it’s not everyone’s thing. Which is fine, because if it was, I’d be rather useless.
