Quite a pickle.

Pickles aren't bad to eat, though. The conundrums don't cease. I've made a meal out of a jar of pickles and I'm not sorry about it.

But did you drink the juice as well?

I have, though the last time Nina took it to use as part of her chicken brine. Not that she asked, but she took it. It's not a bad drink, though. Do you like it?

I can only drink it when I am really craving something super salty. But sometimes, yeah, I'll go for a little sip.

Yeah, no complaints. Nina knows her way around a kitchen. I'm sure she'll invite you over one of these days if she hasn't already. She likes to try and make big dinners happen.

Fair, it is pretty salty. I just like nothing to go to waste. Not that one has to drink it to use it.

And dinner with fifteen people is much harder to manage socially than one with three or four. I completely understand that, I prefer smaller gatherings usually.

Given your family size I'm not surprised.

I put your pillow on my chair. It seemed the most practical place for it. [Some cushion back support while he sits.] You're free to use it when you sit in there to read.

Still not sleeping well? If you have something especially important that you need to be rested for, you can come over, always.

I'll keep that in mind, though mostly I was just reassuring you the pillow was being put to good use.
